What is a 12v push button switch?

The 12v push button switch is a push button switch with an operating voltage of 12v. It is one of the indispensable components in low-voltage application scenarios. It uses the mechanical action of pressing the button to control the on and off of the circuit. Common malfunctions

Under normal use, the average service life of a push button switch is from 100,000 to hundreds of thousands of times. In the case of poor materials, high frequency of use, and harsh environmental conditions, the service life will be significantly reduced.

Common faults of push button switches include the following:

Poor contact of the button switch: It may be that the surface of the button has been oxidized due to time or there is dirt in the gap, or it may be that the internal spring is broken.

Corrosion of internal contacts: It may be caused by water ingress, voltage overload or short circuit inside the button.

The indicator light of the illuminated push button switch does not light up: The polarity of the indicator light may be connected incorrectly, and the power supply voltage does not meet the voltage specification of the indicator light.

In order to prevent the occurrence of faults, you first need to select a suitable push button switch, confirm that the specifications and models need to match, correctly install and use the push button switch, and regular cleaning and maintenance work is also required.

In industrial applications, 12v push button switches can be used in control panels, emergency stops and signal transmission.
